Love the fabriclip so I can confidently carry my S-W Shield at the gym and with that sort of clothing (leggings, joggers) without worry of it damaging my clothes. The pattern is beautiful and the mold fits my weapon perfectly with a snug, but easy, “snap” into and out of place. Even with the bends and turns with working out, I am confident that my gun will stay safely in its holster.
I have a very small/short waist and leggings tend to be high waisted. So there are times, especially with squats or leg workouts, where my bending is moving with my body/short waist. However, my gun stays snuggly in the holster and the fabriclip stays in place where I clip in on my waistband. There may be some movement of your weapon, but leggings/joggers move more with your body and depending on how high waisted your pants are. Even with that, I feel confident in the holster securing my gun safely to my person.
Loved it so much I ordered the same design for OWB and the tray.
What I love about my Southern Bullets Mountain Peaks holster is that it functions perfectly, is very well made, and is beautiful and feminine.
This is my first Kydex holster. The holster I’ve used with my other handgun is leather. No complaints with the leather, it works fine, and I like that it babies my gun. But my new gun is a bit bigger and heavier and I wanted that kydex snap.
The only thing that hasn’t turned out to be a perfect fit for me, is the Fabri-Clip. I’ve since ordered an Ulti-Clip, which I hope I’ll like better. To be clear, there’s nothing wrong with the Fabri-Clip. It functions OK. But I use the holster inside my Dene Adams Corset holster most days, and it has a pretty thick fabric (about 1/8-1/4 inch thick) so the Fabri-Clip is hard to use on it, and since it has to bend so much around the thick fabric, it tends to stick out at the top, giving me just one more extra 1/2 inch to try and hide. It worked fine in jeans, but I prefer the complete security of the corset holster and the kydex holster.
Bottom line, I’d recommend the Southern Bullets holster to friends. It’s beautiful, safe, and high quality. Kinda high priced in my opinion, but for something I’m using every day, I am glad it’s beautiful and well made.
